Irritable Bowel Syndrome

When your bowel is already irritating you, irritable boss and colleagues easily annoy you. They think you are using going to the toilet as a way to do less work. If only they could get inside your mind and body and feel what you are feeling.
Go on scientist there is a challenge for all of you.

If you have irritable bowel don't sit and feel sorry for yourself. Seek advice from the Gut Trust, and visit your general practitioner. Once you have settled in at work talk to your boss about your symptoms. Tell your boss about changes that would make life at work easier for you. Give your boss the website address for the gut trust. If your boss is being unreasonable record details of meetings. Also take someone to all meetings with you. Avoid taking partners or family members.
Irritable Bowel is covered under the disability discrimination act so your boss must make reasonable adjustments to accomodate your needs. Persevere on the matter don't give up easily, seek advice on employment law from citizens advice bureau. Contact the Access to work people at your local job centre. Give yourself more time to get ready! Avoid being late!
